![]() ![]() NB that the boost setting is usually found under the "record" part of the sound control dialogue box and not the playback section - you are after all "recording" your voice. Some programs (Skype & Dragon Dictate in particular) are notorious for disabling this setting when you use them so you might have to reset it frequently I do and I just got used to having to do it. ![]() You will find this setting in Control Panel under Sound or possibly on the volume control in your system tray. ![]() If that doesn't help then you need to check that the "Microphone +20dB Boost" for your microphone is enabled. If you don't, then try putting your mic closer to your mouth. Speak normally (you dont have to press the voice transmit key you have assigned)Ī white bar should appear in the level Indicator and you should get AT LEAST this much white showing (this is my settings and Armitage says i come through loud and clear):
